Since its establishment in 2001, ICEP Europe has recognised the important of creating strong accreditation and collaboration links with key bodies in order to cement the organisation’s standing as a quality leading provider of online education in the area of Special needs education and psychology.

Queens University Belfast, School of Education

queens_logoIn 2007, ICEP Europe further developed its accreditation links through a joint collaboration with Queens University Belfast, School of Education by offering The Advanced Diploma in Professional Development (Adv Dip PD) Inclusive Education, which specialises in professional development in the areas of special needs and psychology. The Diploma course commences twice yearly – September & January. The online nature of the course was a new provision format for the School of Education. The Advanced Diploma in Professional Development (Adv Dip PD) Inclusive Education is designed to equip teachers with the skills needed to teach pupils with special or additional learning needs

St Patricks College, Drumcondra

St Pats logoICEP Europe has a continuing professional relationship with St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra. ICEP Europe developed one of the world’s first online courses on autism in partnership with St Patrick’s and this initiative was supported and part funded by the Government of Ireland and the Department of Education and Science under the National Development Plan. In 2007, ICEP Europe partnered again with St Patricks, Special Education Department to offer teachers an Online Certificate/Diploma in Special/Inclusive Education. This Certificate/Diploma course is officially accredited by Dublin City University. The course is part funded by the Special Education Support Service, Teacher Education Section, DES, under the National Development Plan.

Training and Development Agency

tda logoThe Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) is the national agency and recognised sector body responsible for the training and development of the school workforce. The agency comes under the remit of the UK Government’s Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF). One of the agency's primary roles is to provide adequate training for teachers in England. It play’s a central role in supporting the workforce to help children and young people meet the outcomes of the Every Child Matters agenda. ICEP Europe is a TDA approved provider of online CPD courses.

Continuing Professional Development Scotland

cpd_logoCPD Scotland is a SEED (Scottish Executive Education Department) sponsored project being delivered jointly by the National CPD Team and Learning and Teaching Scotland. The project is aimed at all education practitioners in Scotland, but is also of interest to student teachers, CPD co-coordinators, and local authorities. As well as providing a range of CPD opportunities, it aims to take advantage of the Glow project, other online tools and the current uptake in social software for the collaboration and sharing of ideas, professional thinking and practice. ICEP Europe is delighted to be an approved CPD provider of education and training by CPD Scotland.

Psychological Society of Ireland

psychological_logoICEP Europe is delighted to be accredited for CPD purposes by the Psychological Society of Ireland, for its members, of our online course, Applied Behaviour Analysis: Interventions for Developmental Disabilities. This course has been awarded 15 credits for continuing professional development in Psychology. ICEP Europe will continue to work with PSI to build a comprehensive portfolio of accredited courses for psychologists.
