Check out what ICEP Europe students have to say

To be able to have access to a specialist online ABA course was wonderful. I teach Autistic children and it was great to have complex concepts made easy to understand and apply. I feel more confident in my teaching following this course. Many thanks.
Stefan Schrader, Hamburg, Germany

I really enjoyed it and I found it very worthwhile. I can honestly say that I have gained so much knowledge on ADHD. I hope now that I can use and pass on this knowledge to all the staff at my school. Thanks to all.
Francesca Proctor, Co. Donegal

The fact that I could do the course from my own home was a great help as it eliminated child minding problems- I worked at night and early in the morning. Thanks for all your help; I look forward to doing the course on dyslexia next.
Noinin Kidd, Killester, Dublin

Thanks once again for all your help. This course has challenged and changed much of my thinking. I'm really committed to inclusion within mainstream classes. You're feedback has been invaluable. My ICEP Course has really improved my academic writing and professional knowledge for teaching SEN pupils. I've really enjoyed working with ICEPE and Queen's.
Bob Mc Naughton Scotland, Advanced Diploma Student, 2009

"Fair play to us all", in old Cyberspace
Who finished the course at our own pace.
"Fair play" to Deirdre, Henry, and Moya
I wouldn't have three days to take only for ya.
"Fair play" to people who shared their own thoughts
Now back to the classroom where it will be taught.
Oh Monday is coming, thank God for the pay
Let's all have a "blast" with those three free course days!
"Fair play" to ICEP Europe for the best course I've done in years!
Noeleen Mc Eneaney Toal, Co. Monaghan

Thank you for all the ideas and reference material. All of the information was presented in an easy to follow way, and will be good resource to have during the year. Congratulations to the team for writing such a wonderful course and to the excellent tutors.
Maeve Corish, Donabate, Co. Dublin

It is very comprehensive and the reference lists ensure that further research could be done. I was also very pleased to get the list of software and the analysis of the different reading and spelling schemes. I only wish such awareness existed 10-12 years ago when my son was at school. If you put together other courses next year I would be very interested.
Gillian Boazman, Co. Cork

This wonderful dyslexia course has been a lifeline to my teaching. Thank you so much for the privilege of gaining so much insight and wisdom from all the gems you have shared. I am looking forward to the next course.
Anne Elizabeth Teubes, South Africa

Everything I needed to know but was afraid to ask! I will be sharing the content of the ABA course with colleagues and parents alike.
Margaret Hall, Belfast

I wish all of my colleagues could have also done this course. It is so relevant today as we struggle towards inclusive education.
Donal McCarthy, Co Limerick

I’m a parent of an autistic child and a resource teacher and found the course full of insight and practical skills-thank you for this excellent course.
Mary Gilligan, Co Galway

Finally a course that helps ‘demystify’ ABA, and shows how to apply its principles to teaching and to some of the behavioural issues encountered in the classroom. The discussion boards were a great way to for us to share concerns, and more importantly, ideas. I would have no hesitation recommending this course to any professional involved with children with ASD or any developmental disability.
D’arne O’Shiel, ASD teacher, Co Laois

Having taken the course on Understanding Autism, I can heartily recommend it.
It’s totally comprehensive but this course is far more than just theoretical. It is practical - full of case studies, strategies and useful interventions. Most importantly, the tuition is excellent, with a helpful tutor ever available to answer your questions, guide you and listen to your feedback.
Eileen Seery, Guidance Counsellor, Co. Wicklow

I really enjoyed doing the inclusion course and gained valuable insights into the whole area of special educational needs. The content was very relevant, comprehensive and helpful to teachers or anyone involved in education today. Thank you.
Cathleen O’Sullivan, Cork

A worthwhile and well structured course, it provides a context for understanding student behaviour and discipline and more importantly, responding effectively to prevent and resolve problems before they get out of control. For principals it provides excellent examples of whole school behaviour support and management, while there were excellent strategies and practical tips for classroom teachers. I also appreciated the realistic and practical approach taken in this course. Grounded in sound psychology and best practice, it provides realistic guidance for schools and teachers based on proven interventions.
Eileen Jackson, Principal, Co Wicklow

“I work with many children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, I found the information in this course to be very relevant and true to the children I work with. I intend to print this material and use it as a reference in the future. This was an excellent course-the content was very useful. It certainly improved my teaching of ADHD and hopefully will shape my teaching. Thank you.”
Course Participant Autumn 2007

"I found the information and range of practical ideas in this course very valuable and have no doubt it will be a useful source of material for future reference."
Course Participant Spring 2008

"The course helped me to recognise what i can do to make learning easier for pupils with ADHD. i can make changes in my classroom environment e.g. seat the pupil with ADHD away from distractions. I can make changes in my instruction which will be beneficial for the pupil with ADHD and the entire class e.g. list the activities of the lesson on the board. I learned that as a teacher I am an important part of the ADHD management process, along with the wider school and the pupil's family.
Course Participant Summer 2008

I have found this course really interesting and helpful. I'm sure it will help me to be more aware, more reflective, and more confident in meeting the diverse needs of the children I teach, and any child with ADHD I may teach in the future. I have no doubt that it will improve the quality of my teaching and learning in my classroom. Thank you."
Course Participant Autumn 2008

“The course was very practical and realistic in terms of dealing with discipline issues and managing student behaviour in the classroom. I liked the fact that the tutor was readily available for queries/comments and the discussion board was so honest (talking to other teachers who may be in a similar situation, hearing techniques that worked well for them in their classrooms & learning from one another).”
Course Participant Autumn 2007

“This course was informative, practical, realistic, comprehensive, well researched, encouraging and enjoyable. I cannot say that at any point I found the experience of the course to be a drag! Thank you.”
Course Participant Spring 2008

"In Conclusion I feel I have learned a lot from this course. As many other participants have alluded to, some of it is about putting names to things you are doing already, but what is heartening about that is that it is also being presented as good practice. This course has broadened my understanding of, and my repertoire of strategies for responding to, different types of behaviour."
Course Participant Summer 2008

"I have found the course very informative and practical; the information/advice given isn't too extreme that it can't be used everyday. Their is plenty of food for thought within it and I love the whole idea of developing my communication skills with the pupils in order to have constructive feedback from them. I also have found having to reflect back on my own work has made me highlight my weaknesses so that I can now improve them. Instead of always taking the easy option and blaming the class/student I now think it is very important to look at yourself first and to work from there."
Course Participant Autumn 2008

"The course is well structured and up to date with current thinking and studies. There is a lot of real-life cases detailed with makes understanding Aspergers easier. There are a lot of key and useful interventions suggested"
Course Participant Autumn 2008

"This course has definitely made a huge impact on me, I now feel better armed to help support and encourage the students with AS that I teach. It has made me realise that one of the most important tools we possess in supporting these pupils is our belief in them and our commitment in helping them reach their potential."
